We are accepting applications for participation in our program!

For Current or Newly Admitted CSU Students: We're excited that you're interested in becoming part of the AAC community!  

For Faculty/Staff: If you are a faculty/teacher/staff/counselor and would like to nominate a student for participation in our program, please complete and submit our AAC Referral Form and we'll get in touch with the student you've nominated.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.  In order to be considered Fall 2018 AAC participation, applications and all necessary required documentation needs to be submitted by July 1, 2018.

Eligibility

AAC students are current CSU undergraduate students who have a need or desire for academic support to meet and exceed their academic potential.  They are students who are committed to working toward their own success, and whose background MUST includes one or more of the following:

  • First-generation college student (neither parent has a bachelor's degree) OR
  • Low income (as determined by AAC staff using federal low-income guidelines) OR
  • A documented visible or non-visible disability AND
  • Demonstrated need for academic support

Required Application Supporting Documents

2017 Federal Tax Forms - For dependent student applicants submit a copy of your parent's 2017 tax forms. For independent student applicants please submit a copy of your own 2017 tax forms. If you are unsure, click here to find out if you are dependent or independent for financial aid purposes. 
 
For your security, please consider whiting out all social security numbers on the submitted forms.

Please note: This documentation is required. We cannot move forward with your AAC application until we receive this documentation.

What Happens After You've Submitted Your Application

We review your application materials to verify that you are eligible to become part of the AAC and that we've received all of your supporting documentation.

Upon receiving your complete AAC application and supporting documents, we will contact you within 2-3 weeks via phone to schedule an applicant interview with you.
