My name is Ailin Amaro Martinez (she/her/ella), I serve as an SSS Retention Specialist within the Academic Advancement Center. I am a Colorado local, and my family is originally from Durango, Mexico, staying connected to my roots and visiting whenever possible is important to me.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in business management with a minor in Entrepreneurship from the University of Northern Colorado, and I recently earned my MBA at Colorado State University. Alongside my graduate studies, I have worked across multiple student support and academic spaces, including CAMP, McNair, COSI, and campus offices focused on academic success, outreach, and student engagement. 

I am passionate about creating supportive environments where students feel seen, empowered, and confident navigating college. I plan to continue my career in student support services, focusing on access and equity.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in nature, visiting national parks, photography, discovering new music, anime, hanging with my community, and exploring creative outlets!
