Scholar Grant Award

The SSS Grant Award (SGA) is the TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) scholarship we offer to active and engaged participants throughout the fall, spring, and summer semesters. It is designed to provide supplemental financial support to students with unmet financial need, as determined by the Office of Financial Aid (OFA).
If awarded, amounts generally range from $300 to $1,000, depending on individual financial need as determined by OFA. If selected, the grant is awarded as part of the student’s financial aid package to cover any unmet need.
The SGA is a competitive scholarship process, so please be sure to complete your application thoroughly and with intention.
- Be a current TRIO SSS participant who has completed at least one semester in the program
- Have completed all required Retention Specialist meetings for the semester
- Have completed two Engagement Opportunities for the semester
- Be in good academic standing (2.0 cumulative GPA or above)
- Be enrolled in at least one credit-bearing course for the semester
