The College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) at CSU provides financial, academic, and personal support to students from migrant or seasonal farmworking backgrounds. CAMP helps first-year students succeed in college while building a strong community and foundation for their future.

About CAMP

As a cohort-based scholarship program, CAMP supports students during their first year at CSU and beyond through mentorship, tutoring, and professional guidance. Participants receive financial assistance including a CSU Partnership Scholarship and monthly stipend, as well as access to a dedicated student space with food, printing, and study resources. With personalized staff support and opportunities for campus and community engagement, CAMP empowers students to thrive academically and socially while honoring their backgrounds and experiences.

Eligibility

  • Have a high school diploma or GED
  • Be enrolled or planning to enroll full-time at Colorado State University
  • Have earned fewer than 24 college credits after high school
  • Be eligible for Federal Financial Aid
  • Meet one of the following:
  • Worked (or have a household family member who worked) in an agricultural-related job for at least 75 days within the last 24 months, OR
  • Participated in the Title I-C Family Education Program (FEP/Migrant Education Program – MEP), OR
  • Participated in the Rocky Mountain SER (RMSER) program
