About Karina A. Concepción

Born and raised under the Puerto Rican sun, I’m a passionate bilingual (English & Spanish!) educator driven by a fundamental belief: every student, regardless of their story, deserves high-quality instruction and the chance to thrive. That’s why I got into the world of Teaching and Learning, earning a Bachelor’s with a specialization in bilingual education from the University of Houston. I have also completed a Master’s in Educational Leadership and Human Resource Studies at Colorado State University. I’m committed to amplifying student voices and empowering educators in our collective ascent to academic excellence. My passion lies in equity – ensuring every learner has the resources and support to reach their full potential. When I’m not working or studying, you might find me lost in a book; my favorite one is “Como Agua Para Chocolate” by Laura Esquivel.
