Hello! My name is Khuc Phan (she/her). As a first-gen student and a native of Vietnam, I’ve learned to navigate the higher education system in the US. With the invaluable support of the advising team, peers, and family, I successfully earned a Master of Education degree from Teachers College, Columbia University. Now, in this GSC role, I hope to pay it forward and I am excited to support McNair Scholars on their academic journey.

Currently, I’m a third-year Ph.D. student in the School of Education at CSU, focusing my research on cultivating students’ well-being and success. I find joy in building relationships with students and guiding them throughout their academic paths. During my free time, I love hiking, watching movies, and camping with my family. Looking forward to working with and supporting all the McNair Scholars!
