About Km Barnhardt

km barnhardt (they/them) is a second-year MA and First-Generation student in the Department of Sociology. Their thesis, following Pierre Bourdieu’s concepts of habitus, focuses on farmer’s market and the construction of eco-habitus from a structure to consumer lens, using an original national survey of farmer’s market and quantitative methodology. Before coming to CSU, they attended Appalachian State University where they obtained degrees in sociology and philosophy and participated in peer education. When not working they enjoy watching movies, bouldering and book collecting.
