Some factors that impact a student’s SSS Program expectations include their CSU cumulative GPA and if they’re a new SSS participant.  All students are welcome and encouraged to engage with our office beyond these requirements however these are the minimum expected

Click through the interactive slides below here to determine what your expectations are this semester!

Helpful tips for completing your requirements:

  1. Look for any event tagged “SSS Engagement Opportunity” on our Events calendar webpage
  2. Connect with an SSS Peer Coaches during drop-in office hours or sign up to meet with them using this form!
  3. Complete courses/workshops online through StudentLingo.  Note that you must work through to the final step of earning a certificate in order to earn credit.
  4. Complete an action plan tied to a StudentLingo workshop you’ve earned a certificate in, then email it to your Retention Specialist! Action plans can be found by scrolling all the way to the bottom of the workshop agenda on the left hand side.
  5. Complete a tutoring session through tutor.com. Use your CSU ID and password: GibbonsHall105! to login.

If you need help getting either of these responsibilities situated then feel free to reach out to your retention specialists, peer coaches, and any other SSS staff for some help.
